The future Ford’s met in May of 2024 in a mutual Facebook Group. Colin reached out to Abigail (on his birthday, May 07, 2024, no less). Abigail responded in kind and they found a mutual connection over Lutheran Theology.

They soon came to realize they had both attended Concordia Mequon (though 12 years removed from each other) as theology majors and even had a shared professor.

The mutual and shared faith in Christ, enjoyment of Lutheran Theology, and a good dish of pasta did not stop this long-distance couple from dating and following God’s plan for their lives.

Now engaged, Abigail and Colin look forward to a life of service to the God, The Church, and One another.
